I really can’t express how much I love Twelve. Just…his hand gestures, his diction, his gruffness and irritability, the fact that he cares but he keeps it hidden…EVERYTHING. I’M SERIOUSLY ATTACHED TO HIM, OKAY?

Oh, good! I thought there was no chance that I was alone on my read of Twelve, but it’s still nice to have it said by someone else!

Instead of asking us why we make a thing out of being proud, try asking yourself why you think we should be ashamed.

Male privilege is male privilege.

I think there’s a strong case to be made that most trans men don’t have access to most of male privilege.

And that’s setting aside my questioning of whether it’s actually possible for anyone to deserve anything, positive or negative, in any meaningful sense.

I think you can reasonably distinguish between male privilege and cis privilege, and accept that the nature of the kyriarchy is that even a single anti-privilege, as we might call the state of being non-white, non-male, non-cis, non-straight, and/or non-rich, is a major blow, but that each blow remains a beautiful and unique shitflake.

Put another way, I think saying “what about trans men” in response to a statement like “men who get kicked in the balls universally deserve it” is ultimately just a special case of “not all men.”

This is just as bizarre in context as it is floating alone like this, so I present it as is!  Phil is, in my opinion, on point.

holy shit cows are huge

And apparently very cuddly

I can verify cows are both and they lick like giant slobbery cats.

I grew up on a farm, my first pet was a cow.

She was called Princess, and she was so excited to see me, she would follow me around, she waited by the fence for me to come home from school.

They can be incredibly affectionate and they’re smarter than people think.
